Around 100 Millennium Language School students took advantage of Millennium’s partnership with Dr Norberto Keppe’s psychosomatic research center to immerse themselves in true health during the school’s popular Language Immersion for the Holidays program this past Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013.
The immersion in psycho-somatic health featured the participation of psychoanalyst, Selma Genzani, M.D. Julieta Vilareal from Colombia, Dentist Marcia Sgrinhelli, and Keppe Motor engineers, Alexandre Frascari and Cesar Soos.
As well as giving an overview of the latest research from Keppe’s leading-edge Institute, the therapeutic instructors considered health situations presented by the Millennium students. Their approach was to help the audience see the underlying psychological/emotional factors that contributed to their physical health symptoms.
“I never saw before how my anxiety was linked to my perfectionism,” said Millennium English student, Juliana Correa. “I thought my anxiety was caused by stress. What I learned in our psychosomatic workshop gives me more control over anxiety. This is very empowering.”
Millennium teachers use Keppe’s psychological innovations in the classroom to help students deal with fear, shyness and even resistance, and this makes studying languages more pleasurable.
“It’s a great experience to see students opening up more through our method,” says Dr. Vilareal. “When they relax a little, they learn much more quickly and don’t get so stressed,” she added.
The students were also treated to an exposition of the Keppe Motor. Frascari and Soos discussed how energy can be blocked by negative attitudes, which affects health and even relationships between people.
The next Field Trip of this Language Immersion for the Holidays program will be Friday, January 25. Called The Secret History of Brazil, it celebrates the true esoteric origins of the country, and is one of Escola de Línguas Millennium’s most popular outings.
“I would say almost 100% of Brazilians have never heard this version of history before,” says Sofie Bergqvist, Millennium teacher of English and Swedish, “And they’re always enchanted to hear this beautiful story.”
The tour is based on Claudia Bernhardt Pacheco’s book of the same name, elaborated after years of research in Europe and the Americas, and is true to the Millennium vision of famous mystics and writers, including Joaquin Di Fiore, Christopher Columbus and Fernando Pessoa.
